Sharon Hollis, AICP, joined BCDCOG in 2017 as a Principal Transit Planner, where she leads regional capital transit initiatives for the Tri-County Region, including the Lowcountry Rapid Transit project. Prior to that, she worked in the private sector, where she provided planning and project management for transit projects throughout the US, including the $16.5 million North Charleston Transit Center and Amtrak Station. She managed the I-26 Alternatives Analysis Planning Study that resulted in the recommended Lowcountry Rapid Transit Project. Sharon has a Bachelor's in Real Estate from Georgia State and a Master's in City and Regional Planning from Georgia Institute of Technology.
