Ms. Seidel is President and Principal Economist of The Balmoral Group, an engineering and economics consulting firm. She led FDOT’s first construction resource economic evaluation in 2007 and is well acquainted with the market forces, regulatory constraints, and global influences that impact materials supply and pricing. Prior to her focus on economic study, Ms. Seidel’s work experience included six years as a banking executive and ten years as a Federal regulator. Ms. Seidel earned her master’s degree in economics at the University of Sydney (Australia) and holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Economics.
