Sarah E. Moss, P.E., is the Statewide Planning Engineer for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), where she leads statewide transportation planning initiatives that guide multimodal investments and long-range infrastructure priorities across Louisiana. A licensed professional engineer with nearly 20 years of experience, Sarah has held leadership roles in transportation planning, project management, and coastal protection, overseeing complex infrastructure programs and collaborating with federal, state, regional, and local partners. Her expertise includes strategic planning, transportation policy, corridor feasibility studies, stakeholder engagement, and program and project management. Prior to her current role, Sarah served as Confidential Assistant to the DOTD Secretary and as Operations Division Supervisor for the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, contributing to some of Louisiana's most significant transportation and flood protection initiatives. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University and is passionate about advancing innovative, collaborative solutions that strengthen Louisiana's transportation and resilience systems.
