Cary Martin serves as TDOT’s Bureau Chief of Communications and Legislative Affairs, Commissioner Reid’s primary advisor on strategy, messaging, and communications to ensure alignment with TDOT’s mission and executive priorities. Cary works closely with senior leadership to create engagement strategies, craft legislative messaging, and manage high-profile media opportunities. Additionally, he sets TDOT’s brand vision, governs consistency across all channels, and provides leadership during crisis communication events. With more than 30 years’ experience driving business and communications innovation, Cary has provided strategic guidance to Fortune Top 50 companies, as well as helped launch two corporate entities as a senior team executive.
