Bryan Jones is the President of HNTB Corporation’s Mid-Atlantic Division, overseeing complex infrastructure programs, business operations, and more than 750 professionals across seven states, from Pennsylvania to South Carolina, as well as the District of Columbia. Jones is also a Senior Vice President and member of the firm’s Corporate Leadership Team. Prior to serving in the Mid-Atlantic Division, Jones was based in the firm’s Gulf Coast Office, where he began his career at HNTB in government relations before rising to the role of Office Leader. In this capacity, he led the firm’s operations and drove significant growth throughout Louisiana and Mississippi, an area rich with infrastructure networks that are vital to a thriving national and global economy and where HNTB’s work directly contributes to the strategic development of these corridors. Now based in the nation’s capital, with a career spanning more than 20 years, Jones remains a dedicated advocate for infrastructure, particularly in the public policy space, working to secure sustainable funding and shape the future of the industry at the local, state and federal levels. He has championed initiatives like the need for innovative revenue mechanisms and public-private partnerships, working at the intersection of business and government to create efficiencies and advance common-sense solutions. Since relocating to Washington, D.C., Jones has quickly established himself as a leader within several prominent organizations. Most recently, Jones was appointed to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Beautifying Transportation Infrastructure Council. He is also a board member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and leads its Surface Transportation Reauthorization Council, and serves as a member of both the Economic Club of Washington, D.C., and the Greater Washington Board of Trade. He previously served as chairman of the Legislative Committee for the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Metropolitan Washington Chapter. Jones also represents the firm with several national organizations, including the American Road and Transportation Builders Association, the American Council of Engineering Companies, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, the Republican Governors Association and the Democratic Governors Association. Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication from Louisiana State University. He is married to Carolina Bergeron Jones, a licensed clinical social worker. Bryan and Carolina are both from Pointe Coupee Parish and have two daughters, Elle and Emma.
